1. Introduction

Verdict Poker ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Verdict Poker is operated by Coded World Apps. By using Verdict, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the app's functionality:

• Account data — If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google profile name. For anonymous users, we create a temporary unique identifier.
• Profile data — Optional display name, role (e.g. "Live Player", "Grinder"), and avatar selection (Google photo, generated avatar, or initials) that you set in the Edit Profile screen.
• Poker data you enter — Hands, sessions, ratings, and notes you log. This includes positions, cards, stakes, locations, durations, profits, and timestamps.
• App preferences — Currency, language, hands-per-hour estimate, bankroll settings, and theme preferences (stored locally on your device and in your account).
• Subscription data — If you subscribe to Premium, we store your subscription status and a reference ID provided by Google Play. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Usage data — Number of AI analyses performed per month. No cross-app tracking, no advertising profiles, no marketing trackers.
• Usage analytics — We collect anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used. This includes events like 'session created', 'analysis requested', and app navigation. We do not collect personally identifying information. You can opt out anytime in Settings. Firebase Analytics also collects device and app identifiers — including your device's Advertising ID — used solely for analytics, never for advertising or marketing.
• Crash & diagnostic data — If the app crashes or errors, we collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostic information (device model, OS version, and the technical state at the time) via Firebase Crashlytics to fix bugs and improve stability.

We do NOT collect: browsing history, contacts, location data (beyond what you manually enter), or any data outside the app.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI-powered analysis of your poker hands
• To track your session history and bankroll over time
• To enforce usage limits (e.g. free tier analysis quota)
• To sync your data across devices when you're signed in
• To process Premium subscription payments and manage billing

We do NOT sell your data. We do NOT share it with advertisers. We do NOT use it to train AI models.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to run the app:

• Google Firebase (authentication and database) — stores your account and poker data. Firebase is GDPR-compliant. Data is hosted in EU regions.
• Firebase Analytics (Google) — collects anonymous usage statistics. Subject to Google's privacy policy. You can opt out in Verdict Settings.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — collects anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data to help us fix bugs. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Anthropic Claude API (AI analysis) — processes the specific hand details you submit for analysis. Anthropic does not retain or train on this data when accessed via API.
• Google Play (payment processing) — handles Premium subscription payments through the Google Play Store. We never see or store your payment card details. Subject to Google's own privacy policy.
• RevenueCat (subscription management) — manages your Premium subscription status using a user identifier. Payments are still processed by Google Play; RevenueCat never receives your payment card details. Subject to RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• Google OAuth — for sign-in with Google. Subject to Google's own privacy policy.
• DiceBear (avatar generation) — if you select a generated avatar, the avatar image is fetched from DiceBear's public API. No personal data is sent — only an arbitrary "seed" string you select.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firestore databases located in the EU (europe-west region). Access is protected by Firebase Security Rules that ensure only you can read or modify your own data.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) between your device and our services.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Inactive anonymous accounts may be deleted after extended periods of inactivity. Deleted account data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR and similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of your data
• Rectification — Correct inaccurate data
• Deletion — Delete your account and all associated data directly from the app (Settings → Delete Account)
• Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — Stop using the app at any time
• Lodge a complaint — With your local data protection authority. EU users may contact AZOP (Hrvatska agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka) at azop.hr

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do NOT use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Verdict is intended for users 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us to have their data deleted.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
